Leah Cooney is Triple Danger's blazing master of practical and special effects. Hailing from Warfield, England, Leah grew up developing a strong affinity for all things Action and Sci-Fi, becoming fascinated with the 'how it works' side of creating high-end special effects content.
Joining Triple Danger in January of 2021, Leah started as a volunteer Production Assistant, and made a strong impression with her willingness to always offer her help and support to any aspects of a production. As time went on she cemented her place as an invaluable member of the team, and now holds the role of the Pyrotechnics and Special Effects Lead, working closely with the Director, Camera and Make-Up departments to ensure all aspects of Triple Danger's productions look as spectacular as possible.
Outside of the world of filmmaking, Leah has a vividly active social life, having held multiple social responsibility roles within academic environments, as well as being an avid Doctor Who fan, Rabbit owner and Comic-Con frequentee.
