Bio:
Ben Brooks is a Director and Writer from Portsmouth, England. Known for creating films focusing on underrepresented demographics and areas, reflecting their own heritage, and often encourages their collaborators to focus on creating outside of central London. Ranking in several short film festivals since 2018, their attitude-filled Horror/Thrillers have been highly-rated, and place them as one of Britain's sharpest emerging filmmakers.
Ben founded Triple Danger Creations from a group of collaborators in their University class, going on to establish themselves as a fully-fledged Creative and Production team responsible for the widely-nominated short "Love is Blind", a psycho-horror short that was developed remotely and filmed during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
In their spare time, Ben is often found occupied with campaigning for LGBTQIA+ rights and representation in their home community, and regularly works with local talent to develop projects, most recently Singer/Songwriter Alice Milburn, creating the Official Music Video for her single 'Dreaming' alongside Reel Sound Records.
